Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa Believes These Hypercars Could Shake Up the Industry
OTTAWA, ON / ACCESSWIRE / January 26, 2021 / Hypercars have come a long way over the last decade. Quite simply, many supercars rolling off the production line, or out of the workshops where they were hand-built, would leave hypercars from a decade ago in the dust. Auto enthusiast and leading cars salesman Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa believes this is an exciting time for the hypercar industry.
“Hypercar enthusiasts have more options now than perhaps ever before,” Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa claims. “Better yet, there are some relatively affordable options as well, so more people can buy a supercar new than in years past.”
With the global economy sputtering along due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are tightening their belts. Still, if you’re looking for a supercar, you’ve got options, says Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa.
“You can’t ignore the new Mustangs, Challengers, or Camaros,” Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa says. “These cars, especially the performance versions, are blazing fast. They may not be true supercars in a strict sense of the word, of course, but you can tote around kids and groceries in them.”
Looking for some more muscle? Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa believes the Chevrolet is a great hypercar for those not wanting to spend six figures, but looking for high performance.
“The new mid-engine Corvettes can keep up with many of the best Porche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari models,” Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa points out. “Of course, Vettes have always been fast but now that the engine has been moved from the front to the center, handling is much improved too.”
The Corvette, in particular, may shake up the hypercar industry with its low price, rocket-fast speeds, and excellent handling.
“The big thing about the Corvette arguably isn’t the specs or track times, it’s the price tag,” Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa says. “You can pick one up for less than sixty thousand. Outside of the Vette itself, I expect to see Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other premium hypercar companies step up their game. They need to justify their six-figure price tags.”
Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa Says These Two Models May Be the Best Current Hypercars
It’s not just about budget. Right now, the Bugatti Chiron is considered the best hypercar ever by some enthusiasts. Meanwhile, others will argue that the McLaren F1 is the best hypercar yet to grace the road. No matter your preference, it’s going to be a photo finish according to Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa.
“Arguably, McLaren and Bugatti have raised the bar as far as hypercar performance. The McLaren F1 and Bugatti Chiron are both exceptionally fast hypercars that offer great handling and everything else,” Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa argues. “The hypercar market is always about keeping up. Now, hyper carmakers have to keep up with McLaren and Bugatti.”
So who might challenge McLaren or Bugatti? Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa believes a newcomer to the hypercar market may be among the best challengers.
“One hypercar I’m keeping an eye on is the Tesla Roadster,” Bobby Wilkinson Ottawa says. “It’s electric and extremely fast.”
